Current Superior TDA schedule options
Superior Truck Driving Academy offers three Class A CDL Training schedules in Oklahoma City:
- Weekday: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.; typically 3–4 weeks
- Evening: Monday–Thursday, 5:00–9:00 p.m.; typically 6–10 weeks
- Weekend: Saturday–Sunday, 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.; typically 6–10 weeks
The part-time routes spread the training across more weeks. They do not reduce the seriousness of the material.
Be honest about fatigue
If you work a physical ten-hour shift and then arrive for four hours of CDL Classes, your attention may be poor. That matters when learning inspections, backing, and road skills.
FMCSA rules prohibit a professional driver from operating when illness or fatigue makes driving unsafe. Build that judgment during training. Sleep, food, transportation time, childcare, and study time belong in your schedule—not just class hours.
Plan before you enroll
Ask yourself:
- Can my employer keep my hours predictable?
- Can I attend every scheduled class?
- When will I study the CDL Permit material?
- How will I protect sleep before road training?
- Do I have a backup plan for family responsibilities?
- Can I afford to transition between my current job and the first driving job?
