Our Class A Commercial Driver License Training includes Entry Level Driver Training,Commercial Learner Permit Preparation & S.M.A.R.T. CDL Defensive Driving Course.(THEORY)
Superior TDA will provide you in depth and intensive demonstration & training in how to properly perform a Pre- Trip Inspection, both Inside the cab and the entire external truck and trailer. Our Pre- Trip has been written to easily understand and execute a full Pre Trip Inspection during your Commercial Driver License Exam. All of our late model Trucks and Trailers are the same make and model. You will train in the truck and trailer you will test in.
Our Class A CDL Training Course includes behind the wheel range and road instruction.Our experienced instructors will teach exercises related to basic vehicle control skills and mastery of basic maneuvers on a manual ten speed transmission. Our training has been developed to break down the maneuvers into easy to understand steps.Our Instructors are able to provide you the Superior Training Experience by keeping training groups at a ratio of 5 students per instructor.
Drive Instructors with decades of real world driving experience will give you detailed instruction on a manual ten speed transmission Including: Upshifting, Downshifting, Clutch Control, Observation, Left Turns, Right Turns, Lane Changes, Curves at Highway Speeds, and Entry and Exit on the Interstate. Our Instructors will provide you the skills needed to pass the drive portion of the CDL Exam as well as prepare you for your career in the trucking industry.
With the addition of our L3 Harris TRANSIM™ Truck Driving simulator, we are currently the only school in the state able to offer defensive driving, fuel management, driving in bad weather conditions, rollover prevention, emergency maneuvers, and more. This allows our students to train in situations not encountered during driver training on city streets.
*Driver Trainees who have already completed Entry Level Driver Training and have their permit can begin training following enrollment and acceptance into our Class A CDLTraining Course.
